School Excursions
Penguin Island and the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park provide a fantastic natural teaching base for a diversity of primary and secondary excursions. Group Bookings

A group booking consists of 10 or more full fare paying passengers. If you have less then 10 passengers please book online via the “book now” button.

*booking fees have been introduced due to high levels of cancellations.

Booking Policy & Procedure

All booking enquiries must be received by Perth Wildlife Encounters with minimum 14 days notice of the desired tour date. (please also provide an alternative tour date in case your first option is not available as per the booking form)
An itinerary and quote will NOT be generated within 14 days of the desired tour date. Notice is required to arrange the nescessary resources.
Booking enquiries must be received via the online enquiry form
Once the online enquiry form is received- a suggested itinerary and quote will be returned at our earliest convenience.
Please accept the booking quote and pay the upfront booking fee.
Booking fees are non-refundable and MUST be paid minimum 7 days prior to your tour booking. (If a cancellation occures to due to Covid-19 related issues, a reschedule may be arranged at Managements discresion to avoid a secondary booking fee.)
Group bookings are NOT confirmed until booking fee is received.
The $100.00 booking fee will come off your final payment.
Our Reservations Team will provide you with an order number to confirm your fee have been received and a booking refernece (e.g. RFF1M90).
If you have requested to add a Pengos group lunch option onto your booking we must also receive final selections 7 days prior to the tour date. Pengos group lunches will be invoiced along with the tour bookings.
If no acception of the itinerary and quote is received 7 days prior to you tour date the booking will be cancelled.
Any amendments to the booking but me made 48hrs prior to the booking date. This includes final passenger numbers.
If you have less passengers on the day we will NOT adjust the passenger numbers on your final payment. Passengers that do not attend on the day will be treated as a “no show”.
If you have more passengers on the day they will be in addition to the final payment. Additional passengers added to a booking on the day are subject to availability.

Booking Timeline

> 14 days out– Enquiry must be made via the group enquiry form below for a suggested itinerary and appropriate quote will be returned at our earliest convenience.
> 7 days out- acceptance of booking and a non-refundable $100.00 booking fee must be paid.
> 7 days out- Pengos group lunch order must be received.
> 48 hours out – All final updates must be received including passenger numbers.
On tour date- final payment to be made.

Payment Methods

Booking fee- must be received at least 7 days prior
Card Payment - Please call us to provide your credit card details (card name, card number, expiry and ccv security code) for us to take payment.
Please note: an automatic payment request for $100.00 will be sent 7 days prior. This is your last opportunity to make payment via card details.

Final Payment – to be made on day or via our accounts department through invoice

1. Pay on day over the counter

We accept card only.
(if individual group members wish to pay cash we suggest the group leader organizes collection of individual payments prior. Group booking must be paid in 1 card transaction)

2. Invoice

Our Accounts Department will invoice the total remainder including any Pengos group lunch orders after your visit.

Please note: The $100.00 booking fee will come off your final payment.

It is your schools responsibility to determine suitable supervisory ratios of adults to students for the activities below. To assist with meeting your supervision plan we offer free entry for adult supervisors according to the following ratios:
Kindy to Year 3- 1 free adult supervisor: 5 students
Year 4- Year 12- 1 free adult supervisor: 10 students
Additional adults are welcome and charged at student rates above.

Pengos Café can also provide School Lunch Options for your visit.
